Yesterday we went and saw Mamma Mia. All I can say is, drop everything right now and go see it!
I left the theatre thinking these three things:
1) Meryl Streep is the best actress there is. I don't think there's a role she can not play. Hello? Did you SEE Angels In America?
2) I want to buy a little hotel on a Greek Isle and run it.
3) We must buy the movie the day it comes out. I've GOT to have it!

I don't pretend to know much about raising kids. Furthermore, I certainly don't know the first thing about breast feeding except that the kid clamps onto your nipple for what seems to me to be a large amount of the day. I do however seem to remember either reading or hearing that you shouldn't drink alcohol as a breast feeding mother. Or maybe it's OK to imbibe once in a while. What do I know? What I DO want to know is is it okay to have two screwdrivers in a one hour period WHILE your child is actually clamped onto your breast?

"So this is what you do all day, sit here and read!" Yes ma'am, after I help you and your trailer park trash family and all the other idiotic people who have evidently never been out of their homes before, I sit here and read. But don't you worry, I'm right here if you need your seventh beverage.

Obesity. I know it's an epidemic in this country. If you are so large and can barely walk it's important to let me know that before you heave yourself up out of your seat. My skinny ass can not hold you up by myself. Also, I'm no doctor but I bet those two cans of coke do nothing to help your situation. Just my two cents.

I leave you with a quote I saw on a t-shirt today. Now before you laugh and think I'm making a joke, this is for real. A veteran was wearing said t-shirt and I really appreciated the message he was trying to convey so I'll leave you with it. "All gave some, some gave all."
